Sakura knew she had done the wrong thing by not telling Tsunade - or anyone about the curse seal. No matter how she tried to defend the decision - and she did - the answer was the same each time.
She had done the wrong thing. There was no escaping it. There were explanations, perhaps, but there weren't excuses.
Having thus accepted her responsibility, she didn't hesitate before knocking on Tsunade's door, waiting to be let in.
Sakura pushed opened the door quietly and walked into the room, feeling very small. One hand rubbed her bad elbow a little awkwardly, the feeling still distant as she did so.
"Shishou," she said softly, meeting her teacher's gaze.
Tsunade stared at her, not making a noise for a few moments as she collected her thoughts. It wasn't right to lash out at Sakura because of her own feelings regarding the situation, but at the same time she had kept a secret that could have endangered the lives of others at this school.
"I think we both know," she leaned forward slightly, her frown growing, "Why you're here." A deep breath, "Before I begin, I think it's only...fair, to hear what you have to say for yourself."

Tsunade frowned, folding her hands before her mouth and resting her elbows on her desk.
"It's open."
