Jaina almost rolled her eyes as she entered the Room of Requirement and immediately saw a sword pointed towards her. Oh well, she supposed she shouldn't have expected any less from Seifer ( ... )

Seifer looked for a second to make sure it was Jaina, then withdrew his sword and placed it back in its scabbard hanging off of his back. "Sorry...can't be too careful, you know?" he said sheepishly. He was concerned that there would be others to interfere with his sparring with Jaina, especially faculty. There was no way he was going to let anyone interrupt this unique opportunity at fun and business ( ... )

Jaina gave a smaller smile at the first part of Seifer's comment, "Hey, you can't deny me my chocolate," she rolled her eyes at the second half, "Really? You think I'm going to just take the candy and run," her mouth quirked into a grin, "I need the practice just as much as you, Seifer."

"And I hope you wouldn't," Jaina said flatly, "Don't expect crying from me anytime this century."

Jaina moved her right arm, the sword going to rest by her side as she began walking confidently in a slow semi circle around Seifer. He was much taller than her, since she only stood at about five feet, but maybe there was a way to use that to her advantage. He'd have a longer, stronger reach, but she should be faster. Her eyes narrowed as her mouth pressed itself into a grim line. She could do this.

After a few moments of calm, Jaina moved, bringing her right arm around and aiming a blow at the left side of Seifer's midsection.

Seifer smiled back at Jaina's confirmed love of the delicacy before her. "Well, I know not to stand between a girl and her chocolate," he boasted, thinking back to charming Mai with coconut pieces. "I wouldn't think of you someone who would, Jaina. I know you have your own goals in mind. I just didn't want to see some more of that signature Solo confidence. It's almost as good as mine."

Seifer took a sarcastic sigh of relief following Jaina's fierce self-determination. "That's good. The last thing I need is another reason people want me out of here."

He didn't fail to measure up Jaina, but he knew he would be underestimating her regardless of what he thought. He figured her to be fast, he figured her to be agile, and he certainly figured her to be skillful. He didn't realize how fast, how agile, how skillfull she would be until her first swing.

He was almost caught off-guard by just how quick she was, blocking her tremendous slice at his midsection with a quick deflection. He took a step back and gained his stance again. "And ( ... )
