Konohamaru was a hard kid to ignore as he shoved open the door to the classroom, a stupid smile on his face as he made a beeline for the front of the room. Transfiguration was a class that he really loved, mostly because his Head of House was teaching and therefore that automatically made it the best class ever! Except for maybe Charms.

His smile turned into a silly grin as he plopped down into a chair, stretching out his legs and crossing them before folding his arms behind his head.

"So Professor, what are we learning today?" He asked, leaning back dangerously in his seat.

Once she was sure everyone had entered and taken their seats, Ashe stood up and moved to the head of the classroom.

"I hope you all have had a restful few days," she began, offering Konohamaru a gentle look, not quite a smile, but close. "Today we will begin working on a refresher course. A simple thing for the moment. Each of you will receive a feather -" She waved her wand and a feather appeared on each of the desks. "-and spend the class turning it into a teacup. You should remember the incantation and wand movement -" She demonstrated that anyway. "-so get to it!"

Konohamaru smirked, this was a piece of cake!

He looked at the feather, his eyes narrowing as he stood up, looked at it from a bird's eye view, crouched low so he could look at it eye level, and then sat back down as he pinched it between his fingers and twirled it around for a three hundred and sixty degree evalutation.

Konohamaru nodded, putting the feather back down on the desk and snapping out his wand. He muttered the spell, waved his wand and nodded smugly when the feather morphed into a perfect tea cup.

"Hey, Professor!" He called, practically jumping out of his seat with pride, "I did it!!"

Transfiguration was probably one of Kazumi's best subjects. Of course, she was pretty good in just about everything, but that was beside the point and made her sound kind of snobbish.

"Heya Professor," Kazumi called to the Professor as she entered the room. She noticed that there wasn't anything in particular sticking out in the classroom. "Surprising us this time professor?"

While he might not have looked like it on the outside, Harry was full of determination for this class. This time he was not going to screw things up, this time he was going to show the class the fruits of all his extra work and prove he was a competent student!

Okay, maybe not, but at least this time he would get whatever he was transmogrifying to actually resemble the thing it was supposed to.

"Hello Ma'am," Harry said as he entered, before giving Asakura a grin. "Well, we all know how much the teacher's here love surprises."

These classes were considerably useful since K had lacked many skills of her own when it came to magic. She never had to use it much before she arrived at the school and, although she only arrived late by a year, she found it very disheartening that her own magical abilities refused to advance along wiht her age. Transfigurations was one of those classes where she was good theoretically but, in the performance aspect, she lacked the abilities.

She didn't bother to speak to anyone upon entering. Her basic instincts told her to seek a spot in solitude until class would begin. Besides, even though she didn't want company, knowing some of her fellow classmates, it was inevitably going to happen.
