Ashe glanced up just at the right moment to see Galatea step inside. She was a little surprised, but that didn't really show on her face. Instead, she stood and offered the chair on the other side of her desk with a slight motion of her hand.
"Good morning," she answered warmly enough. "Of course you may."
Asking the favor was one thing; being able to do something about it was another entirely.
Ashe had to admit that she was a bit surprised at Galatea's request. Apparently, this week was producing surprising honesty out of nearly everyone, though if this was Galatea's true feeling on classwork, Ashe would need to work her hard so she didn't get bored.
"I am sure we can arrange something. Would you like scheduled private lessons with me or will an extra assignment every so often suffice?"
She thought for a moment on what a seventh year might need to know in the real world. Galatea was advanced already, so certainly she could handle some of the more difficult of Transfiguration spells and Ashe was certain the girl wouldn't do anything stupid while practicing. Unfortunately Justin had seen fit to only teach him how to use transfiguration for combat and infiltration, which were decidedly not the focus of his Hogwarts studies.

At the sound of the door opening, Ashe turned to glance over to see who needed her. Her expression turned slightly curious as she noticed a student push his head in. Replacing her papers on her desk, she stood.
"Of course," she answered easily, attempting to be as welcoming as she could be. "Is there something I may do for you, Harry?"
A chair sat on the other side of her desk, ready for use if he felt like sitting down.
Moving into the room slowly, his eyes sweeping all over, Harry moved in and plopped down in the offered chair, his casual posture in contrast to his alert expression.
"Well, it appears after careful study and our past two exams that I'm rather deficient in the transforming inanimate objects into living animals and other assorted transmogrification that doesn't have to do with making weapons or doors or disguises or hiding places, and since I'd really like to graduate, you seemed the logical choice to seek out for help."
Ashe knew he had a point with his words and she was glad he'd come to her, not just because she was the Transfiguration teacher, but also because she was his Head of House. Sitting a little back in her seat, she nodded once and began to think of what might work for her to start with him on
