Professor I would go back, but for one whenever I get close there are plenty of creatures surround the area.

Secondly it appears they have barricaded the common room so I can't get in anyway. That's why I'm trying to find a place to hide for the time being.

Logically speaking, it would be much more efficient if I just find another room completely rather than trying to find another common room and possibly get trapped.

Although if you can set the right kind of traps in the right places they can leave you alone for sometime.

Would you mind telling me the locations of some of those traps? Preferably the ones furthest from you.

I can't calculate where the others traps are, since there appears to be ones that are meant to trap us, but mine are so far mostly on the fifth floor if that helps a tiny bit.

I think I can provide assistance. I've been doing what you're doing, though its obvious we're either in complete opposite corners or simply missed eachother's paths when we're near.

At the moment I'm on fifth floor covering that area, but I'll be moving soon to another place.

Might I suggest moving toward staircases and using low yield spells and traps. Trying to win through attrition doesn't seem to cut it, but we might use the downward slope of the stairs and the inferi's own collective mass to hold them back.

Wouldn't going downhill make them faster than what they already are?
