Hey, everyone. Jake Berne from the Hufflepuff house, here. I'm staying at school this year, so I thought I'd do something for the other students who are also staying! Professors can join in too, if they want.
You've heard of Secret Santa, right? Well, this is kind of like that.
I have this sign-up list here -- [He holds up a piece of paper with 'S.S. SIGN-UPS' scrawled over the top.] -- to keep track of everyone that wants to participate. So! Just give me your name, house, and what kind of things you like. Try not to be too demanding, though. This is just for fun! ...Oh! And no prank gifts. Seriously, guys-- have some tact. I'll be wrapping the gifts myself so I can make sure all the gifts stay appropriate. Not really fair if someone goes out of their way to make you something or buy something nice and they get a joke in return. Right?
Then I'll pair everyone off and give you your gift ideas. Just get it to me before Christmas Eve, okay? I'm planning on delivering everything then. And hey, if you have any gifts you just want me to deliver to your friends for fun, I can do that too. Just let me know here.
