I haven't read any CSI in fic in a long, long time, but I saw your name and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. You write an amazing, introspective Brass and I love how you peel back a few of his layers as he wonders what kind of man he is. Brilliant.

I think you've captured Brass so beautifully...this mix of pain and compassion and guilt and hope. It makes me ache.

The last section made me tear up...of all the years, all the episodes, all the fun/beautiful/shippy moments, the moment with Tracy Bell is my absolute favorite CSI moment and you brought to life beautifully what Brass must have been feeling.
