For those of you who might have seen the news about the 5.8 magnitude quake that just hit southern California: yes, we felt it here in L.A., largest I can remember from the last few years. But effects here at the Middle-offices were reduced to some door-rattling, and we're all okay ( Read more... )

I'm really glad you're okay. That was the most exciting one we've had in a while, and that kind of excitement is something we can all do without.

(We are still the best evacuators in the building! And today we were the *only* evacuators in the building.)

The title is ours, and we shall defend it to the death! (I am of the opinion that we deserve another ice cream party, *just because*.)

And thanks! I love my new MM icons. I haven't seen last night's ep yet, but it's waiting for me on my DVR for when I get home tonight. I can't wait to kick back with it.

I'm on the top floor at Century Plaza down near the airport. It was a fun minute and a half or so of the building swaying, but we're all okay here. :)

Off-topic to your post, but I just wanted to say that it was nice to meet you in person this weekend.
