I purchased an nVidia 9800GT just so I can play sims three, and it STILL looks like utter crap. ):

I've been trying to play this game (with good graphics) for two years and I've gone through three different video cards (that supposedly could play the game!). What am I doing wroooooooooong? ):

That's very odd. My Dad's computer has a 9800GT and The Sims 3 looks and runs perfect on it with all graphics on high.

TS3 always looks like crap on mine as well, but The Sims Medieval looks fantastic (?) I, too, would love to know why this is. My only conclusion thus far is : TS3 is crap :D
