Just graduating! I find out my degree classification tomorrow and then I'm done. I'm looking for a job in Arts Administration (still living the dream of working in a creaky old museum) but realistically I need a bit more admin experience first. Apparently you need more than a degree to even be a secretary these days! I'm living in Woolwich (Royal Arsenal to be specific, with all the canons!) as of July. Its all a bit scary! Are you still in Cambridge? What do you hope to do after you finish your MA?
Well done! I have all my fingers crossed for you. If you get into the museum business, do let me know how you manage it. I'm hoping to harass the museums around here to give me something involve carting around dead things.
Woolwich, eh? I think I pass you on my way to Kings Cross. We should do a museum crawl again someday. Or something involving cemeteries. Summer is cemetery season.
I'm still in Cambridge - living with the fancy-man now, shock horror, in a little Victorian terrace. I have no practical plans (can you sense the anxiety?) beyond 'finish the novel'. I'll probably get something sleepy and part-time so I can spend the rest of the time writing. It'll be either success or starvation - either way, I win!

Hello! I'm very well, thanks. Soon to be finishing my MA and crawling out into the dreaded 'real world'. How are you? What are you up to?

I found the audience scarier- all those "oh my GODs" at the beginning.
