Hee, thank you, that makes it less lonely. (It's only lonely because my traveling companion is zonked out in his room, having been unable to sleep on the plane, and because my Saturday morning is Friday night in Austin, so people aren't so much with the internets.) I need a little orienteering (and some rupees) before I'm ready to venture out on my own, so I'm sequestered in my hotel room, trying to get up the will to do work. Which all sounds far more complainy than I feel, honest!
Ooh. Cool! The first time my company is sending me anywhere it's to a conference a few blocks from where we work, and it's this Sunday, early. So I'm a wee bit jealous. Have a great time!
Thanks. I've done my time, it was my turn to finally take a trip. I led an entire project with a whole team of developers and testers located in Brazil, and they never sent me... So now, I get India.

I knew that was happening soon, but I wasn't sure when. That's part of why I wanted to come over and visit despite the ice.
Oh well, at least you won't be gone three months like my crazy friend who ran off to have adventures in Guatemala.

I won't be gone long (she tells herself reassuringly). And then I'll have stories!

Where I'm sitting, in the lobby with the doors open, it is breezy and perfect. The temperature of the air is completely neutral. Heaven.
