I have a Wii friend! My sister and I figured out how to do that yesterday. So that's cool. Now I just have to get Aaron and robbytime figured out and then I'll have people to play against in things like Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers Brawl!!! ^_ ( Read more... )

Damn, I need to get my wii working online so I can play with all your wii's too.

Sorry, I couldn't let that stand. Though I do actually need to do that. Damn thing not working.

Aw, I remember the night I discovered you could play with friends who weren't present -- I was visiting my friend Kyanne at Notre Dame, and we were playing on her neighbor's Wii a game that Mike had just gotten, and I was like, "Ooh, I should tell Mike I'm playing, he'll be impressed!" and Kyanne's neighbor was like "Well, does he want to play with us?"

So the four of us (three in South Bend and one in northern Chicago suburbs) were playing smash bros brawl. :)

me too...I should stop playing videos games, watching tv shows on DvD, reading, paying attention to fantasy baseball, and just plain being lazy long enough to set up my WiFi and Wii online. Also, I went to the grocery/retail store today, but they didn't have MarioKart. :-(

Marsapollo, if I remember right, you're using WPA encryption, aren't you? You can try configuring it to WEP. That's what I have to use so my DS works online. It's a little less secure, but I live north of nowhere, so I'm not terribly worried about people haxoring my cybertubes.

E-mail me your friend code. If you don't have my address, it's on my facebook page. We've gotta find some time to try either SSBB or MK out, one of these days.
