So I made the crazy decision yesterday that I want to start dabbling in SCA Rapier. Rabbit has told me (as has Bill) that the crossover from ECS is not difficult. Granted I won't be doing it every week; belly dancing is really important to me right now so if I get a chance to do that, I'm going to take it, but I definitely want to give it a try and

Yea! I'm so thrilled you want to fight! And, the idea of you and Willa supporting each other is so awesome!

(Do yourself a favor, though and don't fight Rabbit until you're ready. Trust me.)

Ditto all the above. Also, we have loaner gambesons and doublets. There's a couple that should be just about the right size for you.

Also, St.Felix is doing Thursday night practices in front of Campus Health. It looks like those are going to be heavy on the rapier side, so that might be another night to play if wiggling doesn't happen.
