I loved this. It was great cause it highlighted how hard the trial must have been on ben. Though I would love to see Marlene's reaction.

Thank you so much! Of course I loved the episode, but I would have loved to at least see one scene or shot of Ben outside the courtroom. :)

Thank you for writing this. Ben has such a huge presence in this episode, even though we don't see him for most of it. I liked the image of the rest of the department trying to comfort him. Hey, if you want to write a sequel where he talks to Marlene, that would be excellent : ).

Aww...thank you so much. I actually edited around and took a part out where he talked to Donna/Tom and the small beginnings of a conversation with Marlene to get this posted today, but I will definitely try to revisit it. I won't have any time until Monday to start that though.

Thank you again for your words of encouragement!

So great! I am glad you wrote this and I like the line "now it was his turn to say screw it..." A great parallel.

Btw, LOVE Ron Pope. Thanks for the music!

Thanks Kyrie! It mean a lot to me that you liked this. Also you are like the queen of parallel's in your stories. Can't wait for more updates from you. :)

I'm glad you like Ron Pope. I got to see him in concert a couple weeks ago and there was like 25 people their total. At the end he took a bunch of pictures with use and signing our cds. It was great to really meet him. :)
