I think this was worth reading.  It's certainly an odd period work.  In that... It's a "gothic/romantic" novel, in which the vast majority of the characters are extremely selfish and intent on destroying every other character.  People drown themselves in alcohol, drop babies over stair railings, keep people ignorant and in contempt of basic ( Read more... )

So, my family's fostering a dog at least for a bit, starting tomorrow.  Possibly permanently.  It's an American Eskimo.  Which keep it or not, means we've maxed on the acceptable number of dogs--3.

...I think all of this time and angst has led me straight back to wanting to work in the fashion industry.  -_-;;  I really don't want to want to do that.

I've been craving squid, and I got to eat it two days in a row!  Yeah!  Squid is deliciousness.

Also, I guess as an update, I've been coming up with ideas, etc. of what to do.  And I need to just act on them in the next month.  But...  I'm just not getting any really good ideas.  Hopefully, things will turn out well.  I wish I had the money to do ( Read more... )

Oh Virginia. Why do you hate GLBT people so much that you will pass an amendment against gay marriage which does nothing concerning gay marriage (It's already been voted down about three times in state.), but simultaneously leaves any unmarried relationship in a very ambiguous status?
