I was in shock when I learned that this scene was completely re-written right before they did it. It was so beautiful and you could really see how much she genuinely care for him. Lovely pics.

I have no idea if it was better. I think they talk about it in the commentary. And of course they're beautiful. That's why it's Spuffy all the way.

AFAIK, RR Kirschner wrote their interaction much harsher. But Joss disliked her version and wrote a new one the day before shooting.
