You also left the back door unlocked and one of the gas burners on the cooker on. So when I went in today it stunk of gas. Oops. If I'd blown myself up I wouldn't have been happy.

Might be an idea to check for stuff like that before you leave, huh?

I thought I'd checked everything properly. I was in quite a rush to leave but I know that's no excuse. Do you think it's worth me going back down just to do a final check everything is fine?

Well obviously I dealt with those two things. I can't think of anything else that might be an issue but that doen't necessarily mean that there isn't anything.
