I've spent all weekend working on an icon tutorial. I've been typing up a draft of it on my sock puppet account, but when I was almost done, LJ would not let me preview the entry. I kept getting the error, "500 Internal Server Error." It wouldn't let me save the changes when I edited the entry either. And its been like this for over 3 hours. I ( Read more... )

I guess that's possible, although I'm pretty sure I've posted entries that are much longer than this before. I'm wondering if its because of all the images and a few links I've put in it, but again, I'm pretty sure I've posted entries with even more images than this. I tried googling this error message and discovered someone else saying they had this issue sporadically when working on a Mac, where the problem would persist for over an hour. So for now, I'm going to take the wait and see approach. In the meantime, I'm editing the entry and correcting my html, etc on Dreamwidth until I get this resolved.
