This pairing was kinda odd to me (it's the first time I read about them) but the fic was good!

David must have felt terrible for not playing the finale... I'm sorry for him... but hopefully, he's got Nando to cheer him up :D

Aww this made my heart break for David all over again. It must have been so hard for him to watch his teammates play the final while he sits it out. Poor baby!

This was so beautifully written though. I love the connection between the two on and off the pitch where Nando can feel exactly how David's feeling. And that last line just made me smile sadly.

I do love Cesc's small part. He's so crazy!
