I'm finally finished proofing out all of celticravenwolf's photos from our shoot in Cochrane a few weeks ago! Deb was such an awesome model and her handsome horse Lightning didn't hurt either! Considering we shot in the harsh mid-day sun, the lighting wasn't TOO hard to work with thanks to clouds that kept passing over. I'd like to edit/play with some of these ( Read more... )

It was ridiculously fun! We got a bit carried away and shot for... four hours, I think. lol!

omfg... must have been years and years since i've seen pics of celticravenwolf! the red & black hair don't jive with this image i have in my head of her. fantastic outfits & photos. so glad lightning got featured in here - i've always thought he was such a lovely looking boy. i LOVE pic #5 - great angle! also pics 8 & 9 are just gorgeous!

in 10 years when you're super famous, all us girlsNtheirHorse models will need to form a club!

I've only met her once before and have only ever seen a couple pictures, so I didn't really have an image of her set in my mind. She has amazing big green eyes, the hair was rockin' and I think she looked fit and confident overall!

I have to wait 10 years to be famous? But I wanna be famous noooow! Hehe. Someone compared my work to Robert Vavra today, so that's definitely a start... :D Once I get enough subjects, I'm going to make a "Women & Horses" photo book, I think, coupled with the pairs' stories. Speaking of, I forgot to add you and Blitzen to my portfolio when I redid my website, because your pics weren't in my normal Equine Photography folder. Mind if I add you in?

Lol, now you're making me blush! Fit... bahaha! I keep looking at my arms and cringing. I used to have awesome toned arms, with like, actual definition and stuff, and now they're jello-y old lady arms! Must get working out again, stat!

That book sounds so freaking cool. What a great idea!

Oh Sarah, I'm on the verge of tears just looking at these. They're everything that I hoped they would be and more, and I haven't even looked at the main gallery yet!
