Before I continue, I should clarify the cast of characters in these entries. You've heard enough about myself and Tanya by now, but you may not know that Sandra is Tanya's mom. But now you do!

Saturday morning we had some breakfast and once again gawked at the prices -- $3.50 for a glass of milk… $4 for a few slices of back bacon. Yikes.

About the pizza thing:

And you got the conversation wrong. The girl working behind the counter was Mexican and spoke in a thick accent, but without fail I answered all her questions. Then the guy asked if I spoke Spanish, because he couldn't understand anything she said! The funny thing is I usually have a TERRIBLE time understanding accents, so I guess all my time in SoCal and my Spanish classes paid off in the end!

You also didn't quote the dancing guy, and you should...
Guy: Do you want to dance?
You: No.
Guy: Does your mom want to dance?
