The Environmental Science Club was having an event called "Bridge Day" in the atrium today, and the Helen Schuler Centre had a table set up... so I went over to chat with them and was asked if I had been there before. Meh, I still wouldn't have had time to volunteer with kids and nature clubs for obscene amounts of time!

ah, at least you have other things to do in the summer. and hey, would it have been worth getting the job if it meant you had lots of experience with children? although, all i can think of is that photo of the children attacking you. i guess you should have submitted that photo with your application.

Hahah, probably! But I wouldn't do this job for the money, that's for sure (by the way, I imagine it's a bit higher this year). I would do it for the fun and experience. Also, if I got it, I would likely camp in Fort Macleod for some of the days.

That's okay. In the Herald they referred to it as the "Enviornmental and Science Club", which is much much worse. They also spent the entire article talking about our "water focus" - evidently the reporter didn't spend more than about 16 minutes at the event.
