Imagine the joy of a Longbottom fan to find yet another story about Frank and Alice, Neville, Augusta and the seventh year DA. This is like chocolate ice-cream with chocolate sauce in a chocolate bowl.

I too thought that the problem Neville had making a patronus came from having happy memories mixed with sad or poignant ones. Bot the bouncing episode and his winning ten points for Gryffindor were excellent examples of this.

I loved your portrayals of Frank and Alice and the scenes of infant Neville.

This was all wonderful.

Thank you so much! As this was posted on the final day of the fest, I really wasn't expecting much feedback, so it was lovely to get your comment straight off.

I'm so glad you liked the Frank and Alice parts, especially.

Yay, Longbottoms! You show the thread of strength and courage that run through the family, from Augusta to Neville. I love your portrayal of all four of them.

Going on to the next part right away!

I'm enjoying this immensley! I so adore the sections with Frank, Alice and baby Neville. But I think my favorite part in all of DH was reading that Gran Longbottom landed the big brave Auror in St. Mungos before she went on the run! Your characterization of Augusta feels just right.
