That was absolutely lovely! I really liked how the magical portraits worked, and you showed Dean's growing up as an artist and a human in such a wonderful way. And that he, being a master, is able to appreciate his old teacher and find his own way to teach, this was truly wonderful.

Thank you for sharing!

Yes, I think in a lot of ways, this is really a story about teaching. Glad you enjoyed it.

Yay, Springtime_Gen!
I always forget Dean is an artist- you've created this side of his character really well. :) And I love McGonagall in this: spot on with the characterisation.

Absolutely fabulous! I love the explanation of that poem very much. And yay for Dean, and Julio was a lovely, lovely OC. And oooh, Ludo being a Death Eater after all, gosh!

A fantastic way to start the exchange! Bravo, bravo.

It is one of my pet theories that Bagman will turn out to be a very bad guy indeed.

And thanks!

I think everyone is going to say it, because I am too--I love the explanation of the portraits, and how it takes a truly masterful artist to capture the life essence of the portraitee. I've always wondered how those work, and this definitely is an imaginative and well executed way of answering that mystery.
