Sheffield is a magnificent bastard, and you write him so well. XD

OW OW OW OW OW. Fantastic. Sheffield is cruel and sharp and condescending and O'Brien's just trying to be a good man and it hurts and I love it.

(And mithrigil and I are both amused that someone else uses the "O'Brien's relationships with children/adolescents Raise Suspicions" bit of headcanon.)

Oh, Heat. You need hugs from someone that isn't a COMPLETE AND UTTER BASTARD. D:

it's Sheffield who knocks on his apartment door, comes in with booze and says, "Here, Heat. Drink up. This sort of thing bothers you, doesn't it?" <--- THERE. There it hit me, there's something in the wording there that speaks of Sheffield's true nature so clearly. He knows Heat is devastated, knows what he needs. But he can't understand it in an emphatic sense.

Awesome as always, darling! I liked this one a lot, you know I love how you write those two <333
