This fic hurts. You may have missed the "drunken" part of the prompt, but you sure hit with the "bitter." (You hit the "sex" part pretty well, too, btw.)

Faye's jealousy and longing are really strong, especially when she's denying their existence. Then, of course, Spike's reaction just makes it worse. And I agree with darknightrain that this's a pretty good guess at how a relationship between them would go down, no matter how much they (or we) would want it differently.
