Xd I bet he would be smart enough to keep quiet about who they really are once they reach their destination--claim that Edgar's the crown prince, and he's just the kid that they cling to "like they would to an older brother".
And then he would tell the twins that it's a game they're playing so that the evil shadows wouldn't find them again.

It's been six months since they arrived at Baron. The ruler, King Shinra, had been more than willing to take in the newcomers--from both ships. Reno was still upset that the other ship didn't have the Engineer/Blacksmith/Bad-ass Techie Cid Highwind, or even the Gunner Knight Vincent Valentine. Having just either of those men around would've greatly comforted them. Highwind would've been busy trying to make radio contact with any other ships that might've made it out of there. Vincent would've been busy playing nanny to the kids
