I think the poor guy needs chocolate. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Oops, I think I'd better edit one sentence for clarity.

My prompt! This was exactly the sort of misunderstanding I was hoping for. I didn't excpect to end up feeling sorry for Zuko, though. All around lovely fic. Thank you so much for sharing.

This is such a cool cultural difference to write about (not least of all because it makes that Maiko scene in The Beach have somewhat different implications, heh). Your Katara is so well-characterized-- I particularly liked the line, "In the Water Tribes, if you give someone a seashell, it means 'Here, have a seashell.'" Cute!

Oh, I didn't even think about The Beach. Hee!

I'm really glad you liked it, and that you think I characterized Katara well. She's one of my favorite characters.

Very nice.

I remember one of the first ficlets I read from you was for Cowboy Bebop. I don't normally read fic for that series, but because it was you, I took a chance. Same thing happened here, and I was rewarded for it both times. Looks like you haven't lost a step since those days; if anything, you've gotten better.

"In the Water Tribes, if you give someone a seashell, it means 'Here, have a seashell.'"

Made my day.

Hi there! I hadn't seen you ages. I hope you're doing well. I'm really glad you enjoyed my fic. I usually write gen in this fandom so I'm so happy this one worked for people.
