Oh, wow. Dude, that was brilliant. It's just so quick and sharp and cutting, and it hurts, and it's *wonderful*. The fact she's not all hung up about it and still trying, and the fact she KNEW Dante would be captain oblivious about the fact she's really getting quite old, that was lovely. I love how much she knows Dante in this; I always felt after DMC3 that Lady wouldn't ever be a love of Dante's life but she could turn into a pretty decent friend, and this is sad and sweet at the same time, and aww.

To me, Dante and Lady, after some initial "OMG we just saved the world let's screw" fun, would settle in a real brother and sister relationship, with times when they get along fine, and times when they're about to kill each other. She has known him the longest, has seen him mature and not mature, and would have to be accepting of all that to stick around.
