He feels safe with her and he doesn’t know why.
He knows there are Turks around, heck he passed one on his way down here.
He knows he needs to be there when Seph goes to the Director’s Meeting, especially since according to rumor Hojo would be putting in a rare appearance.
He can count on both hands and feet the number of things he needs to do back at his office.
He knows he needs to get back, he’s got maybe another forty minutes before he has to leave if he’s to be on time-and really he shouldn’t have even come down here-but…
But for this moment, for right now, he just drifts, relaxes into her touch and her voice and let’s himself be calm.
