Loved it.

I felt so sorry for both of them. When I saw the ending of FF9 for the first time, I always thought that the happiness of Freya's and Fratley's last scene seemed somewhat forced and unbelievable,since there where so many things which needed to be worked out and therefore many possibilities for the relationship to ultimately fail.

agreed. that's why i set it with the tone i did. even if things somehow worked out, or if fratley regained his memory, things are not going to be wine and roses; freya has changed too much in the intervening five years for that.

T~T Freya and Fratley's relationship always made me sad, because Freya was my favorite character and when I found out Fratley didn't even remember her, I was all, "LGDRDGFRDLURR"..which translates into endless sadnessss.

I really liked the line, "A stranger who wore her lover's face". It was very good... This was very good. Thank you.
