<3 This is so charming -- and who can blame Vayne for wanting to write home after such a busy day? I love the things he feels worth dwelling on, and the things he sort of glosses -- the way the resistance merits barely a sentence, but the bedclothes rate nearly an entire paragraph.

Exactly what I hoped for, making this prompt! Love his decadence, in language and attention to detail both, and how the details of the bed make it just a touch not-quite-right, like Vayne does so well.
