Poor Sanzo. I could feel his loneliness here. It was painful to see his hopes, so careful and then they were crushed. And how he looked at Hakkai&Gojyo differntly after that and was more aware of them. He has no luck. Great story.

[grin] Thank you. It was a great prompt and I'm so glad I picked it up because it really fit the dynamic that I see for Sanzo...always on the outside looking in and longing for something that he will never reach for.

Bittersweet in definition! Gorgeous, sad, sweet, and sad again. I echo the above sentiments: poor Sanzo and wonderful story!

Wow, that was pretty intense. Normally, I am a 58 shipper all the way, but I truly felt bad for Sanzo here. Ouch. Talk about a rude awakening... literally.

As a die-hard 58 shipper, I swooned at your description of Hakkai and Gojyo twined together after a night of love-making. And Sanzo suddenly noticing Hakkai and Gojyo's secret smiles and stolen touches? Brilliant. *^_^*

[grin] Thank you! Sanzo, being my favorite, I love to get him laid at every opportunity. But he is so pretty when he angsts...
