WONDERFUL!! The shower scene was *happy sigh*. <3 <3

I especially loved: Condensation dribbled down the mirror over the basin, intersecting his reflection, stark lines through a dark figure blurring at the edges, a ghost floating in a white world.

The imagery throughout was stellar.

I don't know Fake either...but Oh! damn! Yep I needed seatbelts for this one!

I think it stands fine enough alone a a story with real characters and very real emotions that one does not feel the need to know who these people are. One could very well apply two other peoplecharactres one knows and loves in this situation quite happily. ^___^ (and I did a lot! I couldna help it!)

I'm happy you enjoyed it not knowing the series. Sometimes a little unconditional love is needed to counter all the angst; puts what's important into perspective, I think.

I love FAKE, and it's been ages since I've found a fic that I could really enjoy in the fandom. Yours was a wonderfully refreshing return to the fandom. I especially loved your characterization of Dee; it felt very true to him.
