Title: Whisper
Author/Artist: Laylah
Rating: PG-13 for spooky
Word count: 984
Summary: Ashe has so many ghosts in her life. It seems cruel of the fates to confront her only with this one.
A/N: I...I'm terribly sorry this isn't darker. Basch makes the face and I turn into a big mushball. I hope you can still enjoy it.

and yeah. so awkward. because it *would* be only human to move on, and yet at the same time -- how does one explain that to the dead, who can't?
...I imagine that problem comes up rather a lot in Ivalice, after reading through the bestiary and taking on all the hunts.

Oh, wow. This is...this is way too good.
I kept copying lines I wanted to quote, because they just friggin' killed me. But after friggin' five, I just gave up and started jibbering.
Ohhh, Ashe. Thank you for being a princess that kills things. ^___^ And Basch, and the guilt, and Ashe again for already knowing this and knowing just how to stop it. And Rasler! Even Rasler, with the images and the gentleness and if you will believe in me... *flails* I am just shaking my head right now. Seriously.
This...may be the closest I've come to posting total gibberish as a review. ^^;; My apologies.

Thank you so much! I fretted like crazy about working on this one, whether it was *doing* enough, whether the dynamic among them was working. I'm so glad that it worked so well for you. ^_^

And yes. He makes the "I'll suffer if you really want me to" face, and immediately I'm all, "nooooo~ that's not what I want at aaaalll...." *lose* ^^;
