Oh, I love this. I love that he's as he would have been when he died, and the jealousy/hope dynamic, and how both Ashe and Basch instinctively move to apologize. It's absolutely beautiful and creepy, but in the way that I appreciate rather than making me want to go cling to my teddy bear ^_^;

and yeah. so awkward. because it *would* be only human to move on, and yet at the same time -- how does one explain that to the dead, who can't?

...I imagine that problem comes up rather a lot in Ivalice, after reading through the bestiary and taking on all the hunts.

Even Rasler, with the images and the gentleness and if you will believe in me... *flails* I am just shaking my head right now. Seriously.
