Summary: Wherein Elizabeth is an author, Neal her favorite victim character and Peter a man having a very bad day.
A/N: This one got weird about uh two paragraphs in. Er.

( On the sixth day of the seventh month of the third year of the reign of Queen Christie, Neal Caffrey stole the crown jewels of the kingdom of New York. It was, all agreed, a most daring feat. Especially for someone who didn't actually exist. )

I think it was the 'the thought of you' part that led to the idea for author!Elizabeth, married (of course) to agent!Peter, which left Neal to be, well, fictional. Except that the prompt specified threesome, so voilá.

Not that there was much in the way of threesomeness in here. Ahem.
