The angst was good. I've always thought of this pairing as a little more angsty than romantic. But this was good. very good. ^_^

I rarely read X fanfiction because it's damn difficult to make it justice, but I enjoy reading this.

I admit that, yes -- on the hand -- it's very hard to write X fic. Plotty long fic is nigh impossible, and I never found it easy to write simple PWP for this fandom either.

But on the other, this fandom lends itself perfectly to short fics and character introspective pieces. Some of the best X fics that I’ve ever read were, in fact, crack and gen, lol.

This is wonderfully done ♥ I must agree, it is tough to find X fanfiction that doesn't detract in some way, but this one is very well done - angsty and introspective, though not too much so.

I personally don't read as much X fic as I should -- but then I'm kind of odd and weird. I'm a huge, huge fan of introspective, but like longer stories too -- and not AU.

I need to search for fics again, I guess. But a lot of the stories I like have been deleted over the years D:
