Hmm, not sure this is that disturbing and creepy. But yes, he's being possessive - which I think makes him very human (just as you pointed out in your piece)?

You're right. I guess I'm just coming from a place where I imagined that I would write this really romantic, soft, and fairy-tale sort of thing with lots of endearments and kisses, but instead got a very different thing. Taken by itself it's not veering off into really crazy territory, but the discrepancy got to me. XD
