I can't say I really care for Light/Misa either (you know me and how much I adore L/Light, don't you?), but I really adore Misa. And this fic is really more about me trying to make the reader feel sorry for her?

Hence, I made it more emotional than I'd usually be.

And Light is disturbing. Actually, DN in general is disturbing.

This is a an excellent look into Light's head. Very chilling. And you certainly succeeded in making me feel sorry for Misa, though feel pretty sorry for her anyway.

I don't see how you couldn't feel sorry for her, but then she's a character that gets bashed far, far too often.

WOW, you wrote my favorite Death Note pairing very well.

I like how obsessed Misa is with Light, and how Light doesn't give two shits and is just using her. The "broken doll" metaphors were very apt and added a lot to the piece.

Oh yes, it was really important for me to portray those dark aspects of their relationship because there's really no way working around it - yet, it's really the darker undertones of the relationship that fascinate me.
