Very nice! It's somehow more abstract/word-painting than the more plot-driven stories you write, which is neat (and works very well for what you want to say here). Love the progression through the different ways Cloud is telling Tifa that he's not going anywhere.

This is lovely. Abstract and yet concrete at the same time and very, very satisfying.

To me, this had the warm tranquil feeling of a summers day when the fact that there is not a bunch of activity is part of the charm. It's lovely and just what I needed while slugging through a paper.
