To be honest, they appear so little in the anime/manga that their characterisation wasn't exactly easy, but I'm glad it worked out.

Hmm, I'd actually like those to have their own manga *shot*.

I agree - Hatori is really great with her minor characters. I actually like the minor characters more than the main ones :/ Hmm, Kasanoda and Tetsuya made an impact on me because they are so different, I think. Their background is also interesting.
