Title: Perspectives Of One Xander Harris

Summary: Monologues on Xander Harris.
A/n: I was struggling to do something unusual for spring_with_xan and well, I came up with this.
Willow.
Loyal, brave, compassionate, loving. This is what Willow would say if anyone were to ask her what her best friend is like.
They had known each for very long now and Willow is pretty aware that if it were not for her Xander, the world would not be standing as it is today.
There was one point of time when she realized she had been ignoring her best friend-college life does that to you-, but thank god that they overcame those misunderstandings they had and now he would be by her side always. Always reminding her that there is good in this world despite all the evil they face.
It started with a small crush and it bloomed into a beautiful friendship that never can be replaced.
Willow was always glad she had met the boy who stole her crayon and saved her whole.
Buffy.
Xander Harris is a friend Buffy knew there would never be a double.
Listening to him as he talked about her to the potentials before the fight with The First, Buffy had been immensely touched and knew she was one hell of a special slayer.
Despite not sharing secrets with him, Buffy thinks Xander knows and understands more things about her then anyone ever will. He never pushed for answers, but their friendship wasn’t based on words.
It was based on actions, trust and love.
Anya.
Aside from being ‘a Viking in the sack’, Anya knew that Xander was probably the best lover she could ever had.
Despite his gullibility and leaving her at the wedding altar, Anya knew that there were few men like Xander Harris who despite everything, she still loved as he thought her the most important thing for one who was an ex-vengeance demon: humanity.
Watching him high above, she knew he looked desperately for her body although he may have warranted death itself. It was something she appreciated and her spirit always lingered around him to protect him whenever needed.
Angel/Angelus.
To Angel, Xander is an oblivious ignorant boy who just so happened to also be the bravest boy he ever met.
Angelus was awed that a mere teenage boy could stand up to him to defend the Slayer. In his entire undead life, he never encountered such a soul.
The Slayer’s White Knight.
Perhaps that was hope for him yet.
Spike.
Spike thinks that Harris is annoying as hell.
Despite that, he secretly respected the boy although even at the threat of the sharpest point of a stake he would never admit he ever had such a thought.
The fact that Harris stood up to Angelus where many would have cowered was something Spike still felt difficult to believe in. And saving the world from apocalypse after apocalypse without any special powers like the rest of the other Scoobies was something that he was secretly impressed at.
His only regret was that he could not give Xander’s eye back.
Faith.
Faith secretly thought that Xander was the best lay she ever had. Of course she would never say it to anybody if anyone were to ask.
She had changed and although subtle, she could see that Xander had changed as well. From the awkward boy he was to a brave and confident man who was able to hold his own battle.
Xander Harris to her?
Is a true hero.
Cordelia.
Cordelia always had a soft spot for Xander. She had always regretted how he mistreated him during their brief relationship although she had always enjoy spending time with him.
Xander always held a place in her heart. From being the Zeppo to the Scoobies to now an amazing and incredible Watcher, Cordelia is proud of her best friend.
Watching high in the sky with The Powers That Be, Cordelia will always look after the person that had softened her heart in more than one ways.
Giles.
Giles had always looked at his children and loved them.
He was well aware that he did not show that enough on Xander and wished one day that the boy would see how much he cared for him. He was impressed at Xander’s cabability and felt guilty at how he never seen the potential Xander had.
He promised himself that he would always look after Xander as the son he never had.
Dawn.
Xander to her was ultimately the best brother she never could have. From a crush to seeing him as a person she could trust, Dawn adored Xander.
He understood her and Dawn knew that at some point of Xander’s life, he had felt as inadequate as her when dealing with a bunch of superheroes. He probably still does.
Dawn wished for once Xander could see his special skill is helping other people.
Tara.
Tara had always admired people who were brave and outspoken since she was quiet and shy herself.
She never knew how much she actually admired them until Xander stuck up for her against her very own family.
She knew then why Willow had such a crush on him before and was glad that Willow had such a wonderful friend.
She was always happy to be a friend of Xander Harris as well.
