Last one for the day - it's the return (for a second) of Vampire!Xander! And yet for most of this episode he wasn't really that at all, but instead was concerned!friend!Xander (even cuter).
I adore the scene with Real Willow after they've seen Vamp Willow -- especially Xander shaking the cross like it's a watch that isn't working. And their reactions when they realize she's alive.
Gee, now I have to watch this again. Thanks for posting these!
Aww, I love this episode. I always giggle when Xander tries to help Buffy about Willow being reliable and ends up being completely unhelpful. That "what's the funny" moment at the Bronze is awesome too. Aww, to that hug! Gotta love the Scoobie love! :D
I love the reliable-Willow moment - Xander is such a clueless person in those seconds! and the greatest thing about going through all of these is seeing the truly fantastic expressions Xander makes - they're so expressive and awesomely delightful!
I, too, always loved the expressions Nick would get on his face while saying things. Loved the 'stay away from Willow' and 'hands, hands in new places' at the Bronze. Even Sarah, who usually was better at angst than comedy, was great with the 'aren't you going to introduce me to your....Holy God, it's Willow.' moment. And the reactions of all of them (including Angel later on) when they see Willow alive after encountering her as a vampire are so cute! I also like when Xander is so proud that there's a 'badass vampire' out in another universe somewhere. Just wish they would have brought back 'vampire Xander' as well, but I guess that would have been too hard for poor Buffy....thinking she'd lost both her best friends.
Vamp!Xander is smokin' hot, ain't he? And how much do I love the shot with Giles? Almost makes me want to write that pairing. What would you call it? Xiles? Gander? Upon second thought...nah.
