Cable peered outside, lifted the coffee to his mouth, and took a sip.

He checked his watch.

He peered outside again.

He checked his watch a second time, gave the window a wry look, and spoke.

"Bodyslide by two."

What? He wasn't that amused by the idea of Wade streaking through town without his costume, or at least his mask.

"I want a vacation now."

"We just went on vacation," Nate was obliged to point out. "Where did you wind up...?"

"I think I slept with a hooker," Wade replied sadly. "A really political one. Oh, god, you've ruined me!"

The island had ruined Nate, considering that just made him raise an eyebrow.
