While I was looking for paintings by Sidney Goodman (probably not cool to be interested in narrative realism), I came across this group of baseball poems (all based on paintings, one Goodman among 'em).

Seeing that house just to the right I'm remembering the 2 little girls who lived there. They're all grown up now, no doubt.

I'm glad the fence is down and all, but the place does look a little naked that way. And there's at least one big tree that's not there any more.

where was the tree? that can make a big diff in how you see something. the bldg to the right looks like it has new windows.

yes, i know what the streak is--homeruns, right? or just hits? not the ray stevens song, at any rate.

i also like the way the bldg to the right has the curve down its front. i wonder what thats called, architecturally. i also wonder what the original or historically accurate facade for the stein-bachrach house would be, rather than the siding or whatever it has now.
