Thx. Some other folks reccomended that I bag the tree and get rid of it. I think I have a 2 y o spruce that now has it too. I'm going to get rid of it and go for plants cnative to my elevation.

p.s. I want to plant an ash in that area. Maybe even in the hole where I removed the spruce. Can an ash tree get spruce spider mites?
