Okay, so I know I haven't posted here in months. I've been waiting for something important enough to post again. I was hoping that it would be a new job. Instead, it is this: I was attacked by a spider while I was in the shower this morning. -
There's something wrong with me.
So I'm sitting here at work when a colleague of mine from my old newspaper e-mails me. Apparently, a man has been found beheaded in his home just a couple streets away from where I live.
First thought: Whoa. That's disgusting and happened ver
Immediately interrupting second thought: AUGH WHY AM I NOT OUT THERE COVERING THIS FOR THE PAPER?! -
It's probably better than yelling out loud in the office
Dear God please someone help me find another job. -

Okay, so the writer’s block suggestion today says “This month is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Month. I am having the most difficult time writing lately. I don’t know what it is, but it seems like something is sapping my creative ability. I’m juggling a couple short stories right now but none of them are really going anywhere (some more than others). Not sure what I think about that. I went through my e-mail and tallied the number of jobs to which I've applied in the past two months. Counting this afternoon, I've sent my application to about 12 different jobs that could actually be considered to be in my field. And another three weeks go by and another update. I think I tend to write more of these when there’s nothing to do on the Internet at work. That’s not to say I’m not busy. Just that when I’m not busy, I’m very not busy.
