In my head she is and the whole Lupin/Tonks insanity is the result of, I don't know, the imperius curse or something.

could not agree more. if i were going to write a horribly obvious and clicheed mary sue, i, er, i mean she, would be paired with tonks.

Tonks is totally gay. (I'm ignoring anything else.) Which is why I'm always on the lookout for any good Hermione/Tonks fic.

I put up more Xena recs last night... which included a link to my favorite Hermione/Tonks fic for you. (At least, favorite so far... I've only read about 3 stories on them.) And then leavethesky added one of her own. Which I hadn't come across before. So yay!

If you've already read my suggestion, I'll just have to keep trying. *g*
