Despite the evil early hour, I caught the Kiwi Experience bus right on time. Good fun - I met another two solo travellers, Tamsin and Sonal, and by the time we reached Paihia lots of people thought we’d been travelling together for ages. I wish - both of them had done the Inca trail before reaching New Zealand, and I’m intensely jealous, even
