My brother is an asshole.

Since I moved out he's been getting worse. I had been leaving my dog at my parents' house while I was at work so I could come over and walk him on my lunch. Now I think I'll take him somewhere else. I'm so sick of all the little things that scream "I have no respect for you as a person and everything you do is bad and wrong ( Read more... )

I remember asking him, But I was joking at the time, if he was going to take them off, and he gave me the blankest stare. hell if I managed to go thru the ceromony without wearing my glasses he could have sucked it up and not whined about it at all.

Oh, and the answer to the forgetting he is doesn't exist? thats simple, never. he is made up of your genetic background and comes from the same lineage..... unfortunately every family has the asshole, you just happened to get one thats in the same generation and family branch. but youare allowed to tell him to go fruck off!!!! that is within the bounds of the sibling code.

how is Hrothgar doing with his spider bite?

He's doing great except for the occasional hopping on three legs. Weird little bugger, I can't tell if he's hopping because he hurts or because he remembers hurting.

You don't get to "cut him out", per se, but you don't have to deal with him on a daily basis now that you don't live with him. I'm not sure how long he gets to live at home, but when he moves out, you also don't have to deal with him when you go to your parents'. Geographic distance isn't perfect, especially when holidays and reunions come into play, but it gives him less significance in your life.

Just try not to let him get to you in the times you do cross paths, and for the love of God, try to convince your parents not to let animals suffer under his neglect any more.
